It’s Raining Men…

I got invited to a pool party in Upper Marlboro, Maryland last weekend. I didn’t have any expectations as most of the parties I’ve attended in Maryland were not my cup of tea. HOWEVER, this pool party was different. I have never seen so many attractive men in one place. It was just like candy, I couldn’t decide which man was sweeter. As I made my through the party, I started counting all the attractive men I saw and lost count at 40. To top things off, there were more men than women! It’s raining me, HALLELUJAH it’s raining men is what I screamed inside. Not only were there attractive men but they were also well behaved. Every man I came in contact with was a perfect gentleman.
One guy (among the 100 or so men there) caught my attention. He was 6′5″ with a gorgeous smile. How cute was he? Cute enough for me to walk HIM a block to his car BAREFOOT in a bikini. Well, maybe the pomegranate martini(s) had a little something to do with me walking him to his car.
After walking my 6′5″ buddy to his car, my girlfriend wanted to introduce me to a guy she thought was attractive. We fought our way through the shower of men and found ourselves standing in front of “Darren.” “Darren” looked really familiar, however, I couldn’t remember from where I recognized him. Then it hit me! We attempted to get together probably about a year and half ago…things didn’t turn out as planned. He was a BUG-A-BOO! I still have his number in my phone just in case he decided to walk down memory lane and call me! Seriously, some guys don’t take no for an answer. Even with seeing the bug-a-boo, I had a FABULOUS time at the pool party. There were enough men at the party to camouflage me so I was worried about him being in my ear! Anyhow, I have another pool party to attend this weekend, I’ll cross my fingers and hope it will be raining men AGAIN.
There’s nothing more appealing than being in shower of beautiful men…let it rain, let it rain…

Niiiiiiiice! Im green with envy. Isnt it weird how hard it is to find a guy who’s both goodlooking and gentlemanly? I mean, most men who have one good quality always have to ruin everything with some other crazy annoying habit or something like that.
Maybe you should get good with the host/hostess of that party so you can get all those guys details. lol Then you can help out some sisters … im just saying ….

lol..and you should be envious! I haven’t attended a lot of parties where the men were attractive and well behaved. There was no grabbing of body parts etc. I’m not really sure who the host for the party was because I got invited by someone who wasn’t invited by the host invited.
PRAISE A LORD for all the beautiful men. I posted a comment on another blog about not actively pursuing black men, recent events (pool party, and other people) have made me reconsider a “LITTLE.”

The hell it was! lol, I wanted some WINE to go with all that sweet candy that was standing around me at the pool party. That party kept going until 1am, trust me I would’ve still made it there in plenty of time! LOL
